Styling Stripes In The Summer

So here goes my first proper fashion post! believe it or not, I was actually quite nervous to upload this, as I don’t really think I have the best fashion sense… which is something that I’m definitely trying to improve on. I’ve always been a lover of simple comfy pieces that can be worn in a variety of ways, but I always seem to get myself stuck in a rut when it comes to picking out or buying new outfits, which I’m sure is something that you all can relate to as I can’t be the only one!

With the summer heatwave popping up out of nowhere, I just had to go out and buy some suitable clothing for the weather. H&M has always been one of my favourite stores, as for a petite girl like myself, I always find their stuff fits me perfectly and is more flattering on my body type than a majority of other brands! 

When I saw this playsuit in the store, I couldn't help myself as I just had to have it and when I flipped over the price tag to see it was only £14.99 it just had to be mine! As I almost always turn my nose up at dresses and playsuits because I think they won't fit me in the all of the right places, this however, when trying it on was exactly how I expected, it was something I just couldn't pass up.

I've paired it with white trainers from Topshop which have the cutest rose gold detailing on the laces and my absolute favourite grey and white backpack from Fiorelli, for a simple yet comfortable summer outfit.
